If you have found this article, I’m assuming that you are looking for answers after seeing the ACN business overview at a friend’s place or a hotel meeting. You heard them talk up their video phone and tell you how much money is going to be made with it, and that a simple investment of $499 can get you in on the action. Well, chances are that a majority of what they talked about went over your head. So to help you further understand the business I’d like to briefly review their products and their compensation plan and give you an unbiased opinion of ACN.

Let’s start at the beginning. ACN is a global telecommunications company that started 15 years ago in Detroit. They offer several different products that include home phone service, cell phone service, satellite tv, digital phone service, and the mother of all their products: the VIDEO PHONE.

ACN compensates its representatives in three different ways: personal residual income, overriding residual income, and bonuses. Representatives earn a “personal” residual income from the total billing of customers that they PERSONALLY REFER. You can make “up to 10%” but that is only if the monthly billing from your customers reaches $10,000 a month. For the most part, the personal residual income is so small that it is completely ignored.

The second type of residual income, overriding, is the same as personal residual income but with a twist. When you refer your friends and family to the business and they join, when THEY acquire customers themselves you TOO collect a percentage of those customers bills. However, the percentage that you receive is dependent on what level that representative falls on. Rather than get very detailed, you can visit this website for a detailed description of their full compensation plan: https://myacn.acninc.com/MyACN/ShowDoc?DocName=docs/us/en/301.pdf

Lastly, the BIG source of income that representatives see immediately is the team customer acquisition bonuses, otherwise known as TCAB’S. Basically, these are bonuses you receive for recruiting others into the ACN business. The way that they pay out these bonuses is very elaborate and there are many variables and rules involved. But the bottom line is when either you or a representative in your team recruits a new person, they count towards your bonus and depending on how many representatives are recruited into your team in a given month, a particular bonus is paid. So you get paid when you acquire customers and when people are recruited into your organization. It’s that simple.

What most people want to know is if it works, if its legal, if it is real, and so on and so on. Considering that ACN has been around for 15 years and that they do business in 20 countries and counting, it is pretty obvious that they’re a legitimate opportunity and far from illegal. Though you aren’t guaranteed to make the millions, there are definitely individuals who have. Individual results will vary. In an industry like ACN’s, there is a 97% failure rate. Only the few make it past that hump. Though this may discourage some people, that’s just how things are. Nobody said it was going to be easy.

So the questions isn’t whether or not ACN works, but if it is the BEST way to spend $499 and achieve all of the financial goals you have in life. Well, not necessarily. ACN’s model for building a business is very old fashioned. You can only know so many people, and in an industry like ACN you need access to as many people as possible. It’s all about spreading the word and finding new recruits. I can guarantee that the top earners go the extra mile when it comes to recruiting. You’ll find that some of the big money makers do advertisements, make new friends, talk to strangers, and more. Chances are you won’t be making the big bucks by simply talking to your friends and family. Sooner or later you’re going to have to get creative and start meeting new people. For some people this is a scary thought, but it’s true.

If you know how to harness the power of the internet, building a business like ACN can be VERY simple, provided you have the right information. I’d like to bring your attention to a different opportunity called the Wealth Funnel System. Like ACN, it’s about building a business for yourself but doesn’t require you to bother your friends or family. The creator, Derrick Harper, has made millions online and has been working on the internet since the early 90’s, before most of us were even using the internet. He has worked with big companies like MTV, CMT, Pfizer, Weber Grills, Johnson and Johnson, and more. Nobody can argue that he is VERY experienced. He has put together the Wealth Funnel System to provide people with a business that can be equally as rewarding as it is educational. It teaches the skills necessary to be successful with any internet business venture, and is one of the only businesses you will find that has a 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

It may or may not be as good as ACN but that’s honestly for you to decide. Either way, I hope this information has been helpful.

Wishing you the best success, Joe Marquez
